5.3 Inserting batteries into the microphones

For operation, each microphone requires two 1.5 V AA batteries.
Move the cover of the battery compartment on the rear side of the
microphones in direction of the microphone head and take it off.
Insert two batteries as indicated in the battery compartment.

With new batteries, the receiver can be operated for approx. 26
hours. If the button
switching on, the batteries are going flat and have to be replaced.

If the microphones are not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2
weeks), please remove the batteries to prevent damage in case of
battery leakage. Please refer to further explanations in chapter Safety Instructions.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.

6. OPERATION

Switch on the receiver. Press the button

Switch on the hand-held microphones with the button

After switching on a microphone, a radio connection to the receiver is set up. The LEDs on the receiver
indicate that a connection exists to the corresponding microphone. If an LED does not light up or
flickers in spite of a microphone switched on, transmission interference with the other microphone or
another unit may be the reason. In this case change the transmission channel of the microphone
(

Switch on the following audio unit or advance the respective fader on the mixer. Speak into the
microphone and match the output level of the receiver to the input of the following unit with the
respective level control. Do not cover the area of the transmitting antenna, as this will reduce the range.
Adjust the desired volume for both microphones with the VOLUME controls.

To switch off a microphone, keep the button

6.1 Changing the transmission channel

If you experience interference by another unit on 2.4 GHz (sound interruptions occur or the connection
indication flickers), the transmission frequency of the microphones can be changed. There are 16
transmission channels available.
