4.2 Connecting the receiver

1) Connect the output of the receiver to the subsequent unit (e.g. mixer, amplifier). The 6.3 mm jack is
unbalanced and supplies the mixed signal of both microphone channels.
2) Finally, connect the power adapter to the power input of the receiver and the mains plug to a mains
socket. Use the receiver only with the supplied power adapter. Always disconnect the mains connector
when you wish to change connections, move the unit to a different place or if it is not used for a longer
period.

4.4 Inserting batteries into the microphones

1) For operation, each microphone requires two 1.5 V AA batteries. Remove the cover of the battery
compartment on the rear side of the microphones and insert two batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment.
2) With new batteries, the microphones can be operated for approx. 5 hours. If the power indicator does not
light up after switching on, the batteries are exhausted and have to be replaced.
3) If the microphones are not used for a longer period, please remove the batteries to prevent damage in
case of battery leakage.

4.5 Synchronizing the receiver and the microphones

1) Switch on the receiver and the microphones. To set up the radio connection, shortly press the
microphone power button twice. Once you hear a beep sound, press the ID PAIRING button on the
receiver.
2) When the beep is off and the microphone indicator stops flashing, the radio connection is established.
The RF indicators on the receiver indicate that a connection exists to the corresponding microphone. If
an LED does not light up or flickers in spite of a microphone switched on, transmission interference with
the other microphone or another unit may be the reason. In this case change the transmission channel of
the microphone.
3) Switch on the following audio unit or advance the respective fader on the mixer. Speak into the
microphone and match the output level of the receiver to the input of the following unit with the respective
level control. Adjust the desired volume for both microphones with the LEVEL controls.
