5. INSTALLATION

This device is built for 19" racks (483 mm). This rack should be a double-door rack where front panel and
rear panel can be opened. The rack should be provided with a cooling fan. When mounting the device into
the rack, please make sure that there is enough space around the device so that the heated air can be
passed on. Steady overheating will damage your device. You can fix the device with four screws M6 in the
rack. If several devices are to be installed, make sure that you leave 1 unit space between the devices.

6. SETTING INTO OPERATION

6.1 Connections
Insert the two supplied antennas into the BNC jacks and put them in a vertical position.
Connect the receiving unit to the subsequent unit (e.g. mixer, amplifier):
Use the balanced XLR outputs CH-1, CH-2, CH-3, CH-4 for the output signals of the individual receiving
units, for connection to a balanced microphone input.
Use the unbalanced 6.3 mm jack MIX for the master signal of all receiving units, for connection to a line
input via the supplied connection cable.
Connect the power supply unit to the DC IN jack of the receiver and the mains plug to a mains socket.
Use the receiver only with the supplied OMINTRONIC power unit. Always disconnect the mains connector
