5. SETTING INTO OPERATION

5.1 Inserting batteries

For operation, the transmitter requires two 1.5 V AA batteries. Fold up the cover of the battery
compartment and insert two batteries as indicated in the compartment.

With new batteries, the transmitter can be operated for approx. 10 hours. The battery indicator shortly
lights up after switching on. If the indicator lights up continuously during operation the inserted batteries
are going flat and have to be replaced.

If the transmitter is not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please remove the batteries to
prevent damage in case of battery leakage. Please refer to further explanations in chapter Safety
Instructions.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.

5.2 Fastening the pocket transmitter and connecting the microphone

Attach the transmitter with the belt clip to your clothing or strap on your instrument.

Connect the included microphone to the microphone input and attach it to your clothing.
CAUTION!
Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.
BATTERY DISPOSAL NOTICE
Please dispose of discharged batteries properly.
