5. SETTING INTO OPERATION

5.1 Inserting batteries into the microphone

For operation, the microphone requires two 1.5 V AA batteries. Remove the cover of the battery

compartment on the rear side of the microphone. Insert two batteries as indicated in the compartment.
With new batteries, the microphone can be operated for approx. 10 hours. The battery indicator shortly

lights up after switching on. If the indicator lights up continuously during operation the inserted batteries
are going flat and have to be replaced.
If the microphone is not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please remove the batteries to

prevent damage in case of battery leakage. Please refer to further explanations in chapter Safety
Instructions.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.
