Start Print Head Cleaning.

Cleans clogged print head nozzles.
Select the target ink group for cleaning.
If
you are not sure of the ink group
for cleaning. execute Nozzle Check.

Cleaning consumes ink.

(3) Select the ink group to clean.

Clicking Initial Check Items displays
the items to be checked before
cleaning.

(4) Click Execute.
Print Head Cleaning starts when the POWER lamp starts blinking blue.
~Important
Do not perform any other operations until the Print Head Cleaning
finishes. This takes about 120 seconds.
(5) Load a sheet of Letter-sized plain paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder.
~Important
If other than Letter-sized paper is loaded, you cannot print the
nozzle check pattern. Be sure to use Letter-sized plain paper.
(6) Confirm the displayed message and click Print Check Pattern to print the nozzle
check pattern.
The nozzle check pattern is printed.
~Important
Do not perform any other operations until the nozzle check pattern
printing fin ishes.

Note
The nozzle check pattern will not be printed correctly if there is not
enough ink. Replace the ink tank if the remaining amount of ink is
insufficient.
