Video Compensation Delay
Video compensation delay can re-time audio and video/ancillary data signals from DVB-ASI In to
DVB-ASI Out to match processing delay. Rough timing is accomplished via the Delay control (milli-
second), and more precise timing via the Fine control (microsecond). For PIDs with AC-3 (Dolby
Digital), the correct setting is 345 milliseconds. After setting the video delay, PCM I/O (i.e. non-DVB-
ASI) channels can be adjusted to match in the I/O Menu using the Utility Audio Delays.
