Dolby
Dolby E and Dolby Digital decoding are available on a per-technology/per-instance basis. The decod-
er shows bitstream status and two settings:
•
Decode 7/8 (Dolby E) – Selects whether 7/8 audio comes from the input or the Dolby E de-
coder. This has no function when decoding Dolby Digital (AC-3).
•
Bypass routing – Determines where PCM audio goes when the decoder detects the input is not
Dolby E or Dolby Digital
The Dolby Digital Encoder has a few settings; dialnorm is located under Target Level (see Figure 1-22).
