SECTION 9
CARE & MAINTENANCE

RANGE AND REFRIGERATOR

For care and appearance maintenance of the
range and refrigerator, refer to the operation and
maintenance manual for each of the individual
appliances included in your Owners InfoCase.

BATHROOM

The tub and shower walls in the bathroom
should be cleaned with a mild soap and water so-
lution, or (to obtain maximum luster) use a good
quality wax cleaner. Do not use an abrasive
cleaner on the shower walls and tub. If the show-
er has a glass door, it is extremely important that
abrasives not be used. Solvents and aromatic
spirits that contain a petroleum base or additive
should also not be used. These products can
cause a reaction with the glass that results in vis-
ible deterioration marks. Use only a good quality
glass cleaner or mild detergent and water solution
with a soft cloth to clean glass surfaces.
The bathroom lavatory is made of a plastic
material and should be cleaned with a mild soap
and water solution. Abrasive cleaners or harsh
detergents should not be used. See "Countertop
Surfaces" for more information.
For instructions on the care of your fresh wa-
ter toilet, refer to the information in your Owners
InfoCase.

DOORS AND WINDOWS

Windows may be periodically cleaned with a
good quality glass cleaner or mild soap solution
using a soft cloth. Use care when removing ice or
frost from the windows. Always use a plastic ice
scraper, never one made of metal. Use care when
removing ice from the mirrors to protect the re-
flective surfaces.
Door locks and hinges should be lubricated
periodically with powdered graphite to ensure
9-6
trouble-free operation and to protect against
freeze-up.
