Connections

You can establish up to 12 telephony connections (VoIP accounts) for your phone, plus a
connection for a mobile phone.

On this screen you can
– Set up a new connection via Auto Configuration
– See the status of the configured connections
– Activate or deactivate individual connections
– Define which of the connections are used by default for outgoing calls
– Change the configuration of connections or establish new connections
– Delete existing connections.
Setting up a new connection via Auto Configuration

If you want to set up a new connection and your provider allows automatic configura-
tion for the account, click on Start.
When the process is complete, the connection is displayed in the list.
Connections for the Gigaset DE900 IP PRO
The following information is shown for each configured connection:
Name/
Name or number of the VoIP connection / Name of the VoIP provider
Provider
Status
Status of the connection. The following statuses are possible:
Registered
Not registered
Registration failed An error occurred during registration.
Server not acces-
sible
Disabled

Configuring phone settings via the Web configurator

The connection is registered with the provider.
The connection is not registered with the provider.
The registrar server specified during configuration is not
available.
The connection is deactivated.
