Installation/Adjustment
lf the track comes off, install and adjust as follows.
1. Stop the machine on level ground.
2. Jack up the front and rear of the chassis to raise
the track on one side and make it parallel to the
ground surface.
3. Remove the cover.
Put stands under the chassis to hold the chassis
securely in position.
4. Loosen the valve and reduce the pressure inside
the cylinder.
5. Remove the valve.
6. Push the fork in towards the front of the
machine.
7. Fit the track to the sprocket first, then fit it to the
idler.
● The track is heavy, so be extremely carefu
when handling it.
● Lever the track with a steel pipe when fitting the
track.
8. Tighten the valve securely. Be careful not to let
the valve O-ring get caught.
9. Use a grease pump to pump the grease through
the valve, and adjust so that the clearance
between the track frame and the track (
the diagram) is approx. 224-225 mm (when the
rolleris are horizontal).
10. Check that the track is fitted securely to the
sprocket and rollers, then lower the machine to
the ground.
11. lnstall the cover.
