The Clear CMOS Jumper, Clr-CMOS.
The Clr-CMOS Jumper is used to clear the CMOS content.
No Jumper installed
Jumper normal position
Jumper in Clear CMOS position
To clear all CMOS settings, including Password protection, move the CMOS_CLR jumper (with or without
power on the system) for approximately 1 minute. With the jumper in Clear CMOS position, any Secure CMOS
settings will also be void.
Alternatively if no jumper is available, turn off power and remove the battery for 1 minute, but be careful to
orientate the battery corretly when reinserted.
