This is often caused by a head misalignment or insufficient ink drying time. First consult the print samples binder or the test prints in the S70670 drawer under the light booth to see if the the quality is as expected. Operating the Printer Loading a Media Roll Printing on the S70670 is best done on rolls. Some media rolls are heavy and require two people for handling. Rolls are installed on the roll holder, held in place inside the printer by the pressure rollers, and optionally accumulated on the take up reel.

Turn crank until blue insert is flush with core insert 5. Unclamp the release lever that controls the pressure rollers inside the printer. 6. Unwind the roll until you have enough slack to insert the media into the printer. Manually feed some of the paper into the printer and then release the pressure roller release lever to keep it in place.
8. For the area of the printing surface which now contains media, move the pressure rollers under the black bars to enable them. For areas which do no have any media, move the pressure rollers away from the black bars to disable them. 9.
6. The control panel will now ask you if the media printable side is in or out. Select the appropriate one and press OK. 7. The printer will scan the roll width and position the paper. After this is done ‟Ready”...

Setting Up RIP-Queue Printer status panel Queued jobs Queued job controls Previously printed jobs GamaPrint RIP-Queue interfaces with the printer and manages the queue of print jobs. When you launch the application you must make sure the media settings match what you have loaded in the printer.
Adding Images to a Job in Layout Toolbar Image tools sidebar Media roll canvas Media setup Print button GamaPrint Layout allows you to arrange one or more images on a roll and send them to the printer as a job. Images can be resized, tiled, and colour corrected in Layout, though it is recommended to use Photoshop or another more capable image editor to edit your images.
The print server can be taken offline by clicking the large green circle in the printer status panel. Please note: this will not stop the current printing job. The best way to quickly stop the printer is by pressing the Pause/Trash button on the S70670 control panel.
Maintenance Shaking & Changing Ink Cartridges The White and Metallic Silver cartridges must each be removed and shaken for 30 seconds every 24 hours. It is best to do this before your print session. If you are prompted to change an ink cartridge, get a fresh one from the cabinet, shake it, and install in the printer.
Manual Head Cleanings Solvent printers accumulate a lot of ink gunk on the print head and other areas, and manual cleanings may be necessary during your print session. You should only perform print head cleanings if you are experiencing a result of ink build-up on your prints (horizontal smears of ink when the print head passes, failed auto nozzle cleanings).
8. Lift the lid of the right side compartment to reveal the print head capping station, wipers, and ink drainage. 9. Use swabs and fluid to wipe down any ink that has accumulated on the wipers or around the nozzle capping areas, or anywhere ink may have splashed inside the compartment.
Recording Material Usage Users must pay for all materials used during their S70670 booking. All media cut off from a roll, printed on, or damaged by a user must be paid for. All ink used for image printing must be paid for. Users are not charged for individual nozzle checks, head cleanings, and regular ink circulation waste, but these expenses are factored into ink costs.
