this is not a recommended procedure. Expansion of a RaID set impacts online performance tremendously. Expanding a RaID set
while video data is being written to the array greatly extends the expansion process and puts present data recoverability in peril.
1. Open MegaRaID Storage Manager
2. Click on logical tab. Right click on Drive Group that will be expanded. Click on Modify drive Group.
3. Check confirm box and click on Yes

Expanding a RaID set may cause
irrecoverable data loss. It is advised to backup the drive before proceeding.
