Therefore, "A" is 0.58.
"A" = 55 + (67.75 - 22.18) - 99.99
= 0.58
Round off the hundredth digit and select the
appropriate shim(s).
In the example above, the calculated number
is 0.58. The chart instructs you to round off 8
to 10 at the hundredth place. Thus, the shim
thickness is 0.60 mm (0.024 in).
