Introduction to DRO-250i
Interface
Name:
Name of the interface for which OSPF can be configured. Interface
WAN2(ISDN) can be configured as a single 64kbps, single 128kbps or
two 64kbps channels. In case of a single channel, only B1 will be
configurable by the user. In case of two channels, both B1 and B2 can be
configured.
Enable:
Enable or disable OSPF on the particular interface.
AreaID:
Specify the area to which this interface would belong to. This field takes
the value in the form of an IP address. If you have a decimal format Area
ID, it can be converted to the IP address format. For more details, refer to
the procedure at the end of this section.
Metric Value:
Metric value of the interface (1-65535).
Priority:
The priority of this interface. This field is used in the designated router
election algorithm. Maximum value of priority is 255.
Authentication Type:
Type of Authentication for the packets (Simple or MD5 or none).
Authentication Value:
Authentication string for the Simple or MD5 authentication.
MD5 Key Value:
MD5 checksum Key ID.
Virtual Link Settings:
A maximum of five virtual links can be configured.
Area ID:
The Transit Area that the Virtual Link traverses.
