Operational Description
®
The eZ80 Development Platform provides a number of jumpers that are
used to enable or disable functionality on the platform, enable or disable
optional features, or to provide protection from inadvertent use.
Jumper J2
The J2 jumper connection enables/disables IrDA transceiver functionality.
When the shunt is placed, IrDA communication is disabled. See Table 15.

Affected Device
UART0 is configured to work with the RS232 or the
RS485 interfaces.
IrDA is enabled to work with UART0 on the eZ80F91
device.
Jumper J3
The J3 jumper connection controls GPIO emulation mode and communi-
cation with the 7 x 5 LED. When the shunt is placed, GPIO emulation is
disabled. See Table 16.
