Possible cause
There are no
images or video
clips in the
camera and you
are trying to
review them.
Possibly comes
from copying
images to the
memory card
from a computer,
or a corrupted
image caused by
the camera not
shutting down
properly.
The subject did
not provide
enough contrast
for the camera to
focus properly.
Camera is
preparing to take
a picture.
The focus
distance is
beyond where
the camera can
focus.

Solution
Take some pictures or
video clips.
Use the HP software to edit
the images copied on the
memory card. Also, do not
remove batteries or the
memory card when the
camera is turned on.
Use
Focus Lock
taking the picture (see
page 23).
Camera must be held very
still due to long exposure.
Make sure the camera is
not set to
Macro
before
focus.
