Problem
The camera
does not take
a picture
when I press
the Shutter
button.

Possible cause
The camera is
still saving the
last picture you
took.
Images in the
memory
(internal or
card) may be
corrupted.
Your subject
was too close to
the camera
lens.
You moved the
camera while
you took the
picture.
The light is low
and the flash is
set to
Flash
Off.
The camera
focused on the
wrong thing, or
was unable to
focus.
Solution
Wait a few seconds for the
camera to finish processing the
image, and then press the
button.
Format the memory. (See

Use Macro mode for close-up
shots. Do not try to get closer than
the camera's minimum focus

Hold the camera steady as you
press the

tripod.
In dim light, the camera requires
