2. Prerequisites
2.1 Skills Required
The following skills are required by developers aiming to develop application software for the
IT-3100.
• Windows programming
• A good knowledge of one or more of the following
- Visual C++
- Visual Basic .NET
- Visual C# .NET
- Browser based applications (not covered in this guide)
The following skills or experience are also desirable.
• Windows CE devices
• ActiveSync
• Some networking experience
