5.3 IrDA Connection via Windows Mobile Device Center

To establish connection via IrDA interface with PC runs in Windows Vista, use Windows Mobile
Device Center ("WMDC").
Note:
The WMDC version 6.1 or later supports the connection establishment via IrDA interface. Any
other versions earlier are not interoperable with Windows CE devices.
Procedure
Follow the steps below:
1. Choose PC Connection in the Control Panel on the IT-3100.
2. Set PC Connection to IrDA.
3. Mount the IT-3100 on the cradle, and then follow a message appeared in the WMDC on the
PC.
4. On the IT-3100, navigate to Start → Programs → Communication → ActiveSync to
start up communication.
