Recording still pictures onto a card
(Photoshot)
Set to Card Recording Mode.

Press the [PHOTO SHOT] button halfway in
order to adjust focusing. (For auto focusing
only)
If you set [EIS] to [ON], then the image
stabilizer function will be more effective.
(MEGA Optical image stabilizer will be
indicated.)
The iris/gain value is fixed and this
Camcorder focuses on the subject
automatically.

when the [PHOTO SHOT] button is not pressed
halfway. Please use it as a guide for recording.

To record still pictures clearly
When zooming in on the subject with a
magnification of 4

the Camcorder by hand. We recommend
decreasing the zoom magnification and
approaching the subject when recording.
When recording still pictures, hold the
Camcorder firmly with your hands and keep

When the [PICTURE SIZE] is set to other than
[640], the mega pixel recording mode is set.
When the picture size setting is other than [640],
the scene around the subject can be recorded
wider than that in [640].

(When no pictures can be recorded, the red
light will flash.)

Progressive Photoshot
You can record still pictures with higher picture
quality and frames. (You cannot switch the
progressive function off/on.)
In the tape recording mode, the progressive
function may be disabled depending on the
other functions used. (
