WATER HEATER BYPASS AND
ANTIFREEZE SIPHON VALVES
Your coach is equipped with a Water Heater
Bypass valve and an Antifreeze Siphon
(Winterization) valve for winterizing waterlines
using RV antifreeze.
Turn the handle as shown to either bypass or
flow mode.
Refer to the "Water System Drain Valve
Locations" chart at the end of this section for
locations on your model.

Leave bypass valve handle in NORMAL
FLOW position if draining water and
blowing out waterlines. Place in BYPASS
position ONLY when using antifreeze
solution in waterlines.

WINTERIZING PROCEDURES

You can winterize the water and plumbing
system of your coach using one of the following
two methods – 1) Blow out waterlines using
compressed air or – 2) Fill waterlines with RV
water system antifreeze.
Method 1 – Blow Out Procedure
(Drain and purge waterlines using
compressed air)
1. Level the Motorhome. If the coach is not
level, there may be "low points" in waterlines
that can trap water in the lines and prevent it
from draining properly.
2. Drain Fresh Water Tank and Waterlines.
Open all waterline drain valves and drain
fresh water tank. (See "Water System Drain
Valve Locations" chart at the end of this
section for locations of drain valves on your
model).
3. Drain Exterior Shower/Wash Station.
Open exterior shower knobs and lay shower
head on ground as shown to drain any water
left in the shower line. Also, place the tip of
your finger into the city water inlet and gently
