3 The slits in the paper holder must be placed
on the cover.
4 Insert the document holder in the appropriate
opening on the paper refi ll fl ap.
5 To prevent more than one sheet from being
taken in simultaneous, fan the paper and tap it
down on a smooth surface before placing it in
the paper feeder.
6 Flip the paper refi ll fl ap forwards as far as it
will go. Insert sheets of A4 paper (80 gsm) in
the paper feeder as far as they will go (maxi-
mum of 50 sheets).
7 Close the paper feed fl ap.
Never load paper while the fax machine is
printing!

Removing paper

To remove the paper, open the paper feed fl ap
and carefully pull out the paper. Close the fl ap
again.

Additional devices

In addition to your fax machine, you can also
connect other devices, such as additional tele-
phones, cordless telephones, call-fee indicators,
answering machines or modems to a single tele-
phone line.
