Troubleshooting

The CN3000's authentication system is not up.

panel, and that the RADIUS server is reachable from the CN3000.
One way to do this is to ping its IP address using Tools > Ping. If the ping fails,
verify the connection between the CN3000 and the RADIUS server.

• If the total number of Transactions is 0, the CN3000 is not properly connected to
the server, either directly or through other networking devices.
• If the number of Silent Discards is non-zero, it means the CN3000 and the server
have a different shared secret. They should always be the same.
• If the number of Rejects is non-zero, it means the CN3000 is using an invalid login
name/password pair.
• If the number of Accepts is non-zero, it means the positive answer from the server
is not being received by the CN3000. There may be routing problems between the
CN3000 and the RADIUS server.
