Finger tighten the handlebar set bolt 1 and handlebar clamp
nut 2, and then tighten them to the specified torque.
Handlebar set bolt: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m)
Handlebar clamp nut: 50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m)
NOTE:
Hold the front fork legs, move them back and forth and make
sure that the steering is not loose.
After performing the adjustment and installing the
handlebar, "rock" the front wheel assembly forward
and backward to ensure there is no play and the pro-
cedure was accomplished correctly.
Check the steering stem to make sure that it moves
freely from left to right with its own weight. If play or
stiffness is noticeable, readjust the steering stem nut.
