• ''GPS error'' (only for models with GPS): the
communication with the internal GPS unit can-
not be established. Switch the meter off and on
again, then retry. If the problem persists, remove
the batteries, wait for 5 minutes and install them
again. If the problem persists, contact the
HANNA service center.
• ''Dead meter battery!'': This message appears
if the meter batteries are too low to power the
meter and it will automatically turn off. Con-
nect the charger if using rechargeable C bat-
teries or replace the alkaline batteries to con-
tinue.
• ''Insert rechargeable batteries and slide battery
selector switch to the down position.'': This mes-
sage appears when non-rechargeable alkaline
batteries are installed on the meter and/ or the
battery selector switch in is the wrong position,
and the user is attempting to charge then bat-
teries.
• ''Dead probe battery!'': This message appears
if the logging probes batteries are not supply-
ing enough voltage to power the logging probe.
Replace the probe batteries.
• ''User data corrupted!'': This message appears
when powering up the user data stored on meter
are corrupted. Restart the meter. If the problem
persists, contact the HANNA service center.
