3. Screw the other end of the grounding strap to the front power sequencer in the

Note – If you are installing a storage system with an expansion cabinet, do not
connect the grounding strap from the second cabinet to the base cabinet—use a
different grounding point for the second cabinet.

Powering On the Storage System

Note – If you are powering on a Sun StorEdge 3900SL, 3960, 6960, or 6960SL series
storage system with the second cabinet attached, perform the power-on sequence for
both cabinets.
