Chapter 4 Configuring Advanced Settings

Setup

From the Advanced Settings Dashboard, click the Make Changes button to access
advanced Setup options.
If you make any changes, remember to click Save Changes to save the information.
Click Cancel to return to the Advanced Settings dashboard.

Basic Setup

The Setup screen is the first screen you will see when accessing the gateway. Most
users will be able to configure the gateway and get it working properly using only
the settings on this screen. Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will require that
you enter specific information, such as User Name, Password, IP Address, Default
Gateway Address, or DNS IP Address. This information can be obtained from your
ISP, if required.
Note: After you have configured these settings, we recommend that you set a new
password for the gateway using the Security screen to protect the gateway from
unauthorized changes. All users who try to access the gateway web-based utility or
Setup Wizard will be prompted for the gateway's password.
