8.6 Switch off step measurement

The activity sensor is not able to record any exact activity when used
in a vehicle, such as e.g. driving a car, or the like. Therefore switch
the activity sensor off so as not to affect your actual activity times and
to ensure accurate measurements.
It is possible to switch off the step measurement
of the activity sensor: You are in the activity
menu. The activity time is displayed in the middle
line and your number of steps in the bottom line.
Press the
switch off the step measurement. Pressing the
button again for approx. 3 sec. reactivates the
step measurement ( ).
