Installing Optional Adapters

If you are installing optional adapters, refer to the installation guide that came
with the adapter, the SCO documentation and the System User's Guide shipped
with your system for installation and configuration information.
The Upgrades and Options chapter of your System User's Guide includes a
table containing the Interrupt Request number (IRQ), Base I/O and Memory
address, and DMA channel information for optional adapters.
The following optional adapters may be added to your system.
Intel PRO/100+ Cards - The driver required for this card is located on the

3COM 3C905TX Card - The driver required for this card is located on the

XPRESS
Adaptec AHA-3940AUWD Disk Controller - When installing SCO UNIX
5.04 with this adapter already installed, refer to Installing SCO OpenServer Rel.
5.04 Software (With On-Board SCSI Controller and with Adaptec 3940
Controller in the System) in this chapter.
NEC SecuRAID 530 (Mylex AcceleRAID 1100) Disk Array Controller -
Run the SCU/RCU after installing this option card. Refer to the Mylex
AcceleRAID Installation Guide and the Mylex Disk Array Controller
Installation Guide and User's Manual for additional information on this option
card.
The Disk Array Controller monitor, dacmon, should always be running to alert
the user when a drive within the array has failed.

Installing Other Hardware

Refer to the Upgrades and Options chapter of your System User's Guide for
installing additional memory, additional hard disk drives, or new peripheral
devices.
