Charging voltage and time limit

Ask your battery retailer for details on the charging voltage and time
limit required for your batteries.
Caution
a
Make sure that the device is never used if DIP switches 1 and 2 or
DIP switches 3 and 4 are both at the "ON" position. Only the switch
positions described in the following tables ensure the correct oper-
ation of the IU0U automatic charger.
Turn the main switch to "0".
Unscrew the four fastening screws (2) from the rear panel using the hex-
agon socket wrench provided.
Remove the rear panel (1).
Use the DIP switches (5) to set the required charging voltage and the du-
ration of the main charging phase (U0 phase, also see chapter "Charging
characteristics" on page 47):
Setting the charging voltage for IU152A, IU252A and IU452A:
