❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ OHP Transparencies
• If you load OHP transparencies into tray 2, switch the lever inside of the
paper tray to "Non-Standard Paper" mode. ⇒ P.34 "Loading Thick Paper,
Envelopes or OHP Transparencies"
• Be careful not to touch the print side of the OHP transparencies or the print
side can become dirty or damaged, resulting in poor print quality.
• If you print on an OHP transparency that has a print side, load it face up
into tray 2 or load it face down into Bypass Tray Type 270.
• Do not print on OHP transparencies for color.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Adhesive Labels
• Load only one adhesive label at a time into Bypass Tray Type 270.
• Use adhesive labels in which the whole side can be printed on.
• Avoid using adhesive labels having exposed glue.
• If the print side is coated, the print quality might be reduced, as the toner
might not fuse well.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Envelopes
• When printing on envelopes, use tray 2 or Bypass Tray Type 270.
• If you load envelopes into tray 2, switch the lever inside of the paper tray
to "Non-Standard Paper" mode. ⇒ P.34 "Loading Thick Paper, Envelopes or
OHP Transparencies"
• You can select the sizes for the envelopes using the operation panel.
⇒ P.99 "Job Control Parameters"
• Recommended of envelopes is as follows:
• Com#10 Env
• C6 Env
• C5 Env
• DL Env
• Monarch Env
• Do not stack envelopes over the limit mark.
• Confirm that print side is facing up when loading into the tray 2.
• Confirm that print side is facing down when loading into Bypass Tray
Type 270.
• Load the envelopes with the flaps aligned to the right side fence. The flaps
should be securely folded down.
• Confirm that there is no air in the envelopes before loading.
• To get better print quality, it is recommended that you set the right, left,
top, and bottom print margins, to at least 15 mm (0.6") each.
• Do not print on both sides of envelopes.
