    Introduction The unique DOGtrace™ d–mute system is the best solution to excessive barking of your dog. It responds to vocal cords vibrations and can be activated by barking only. 6 correction modes can be set easily as well as sensitivity of the system. Suitable for all dog breed and sizes.

    Battery installation / replacement Use a cross-head screwdriver to remove the screws from the cover of the unit. Insert the battery (3V lithium CR2). Mind the correct polarity marked inside. You will hear a sound signal indicating that the battery is installed properly. If no sound signal comes out, remove the battery immediately.

    Setup / getting started Target Magnet Picture: Mode setting To set a mode, hold the magnet to the target (on the receiver case side, see picture). Modes are indicated by a number of beeps (1–6). The collar does not work on a sound basis. It responds to vibrations of vocal chords.
  • Page 8 The collar is preset to factory default to mode ”1“ – correction with sound only. We recommend starting training with the collar set to this mode – audio warning signal with no correction pulse. This way, the dog can realize the connection between the device and its barking.

Select mode 6 (operation test), sound signal and electric discharge is generated (test discharge lamp is lit up) and the device is automatically switched to mode 1 (sound correction only).

  • Page 11 ● When the strap is too loose, the collar will probably move and the repeated friction may irritate the dog’s skin. Moreover, in this case no reliable contact with the skin is secured as well as the proper performance of the collar. Do not let the dog wear the collar in the same position all the time as it may cause skin irritation.
