Battery installation / replacement Use a cross-head screwdriver to remove the screws from the cover of the unit. Insert the battery (3V lithium CR2). Mind the correct polarity marked inside. You will hear a sound signal indicating that the battery is installed properly. If no sound signal comes out, remove the battery immediately. -

Setup / getting started Target Magnet Picture: Mode setting To set a mode, hold the magnet to the target (on the receiver case side, see picture). Modes are indicated by a number of beeps (1–6). The collar does not work on a sound basis. It responds to vibrations of vocal chords. - Page 8 The collar is preset to factory default to mode ”1“ – correction with sound only. We recommend starting training with the collar set to this mode – audio warning signal with no correction pulse. This way, the dog can realize the connection between the device and its barking.
- Page 9 Picture: collar sensitivity setting d–mute small d–mute Trimmer for fi ne tuning You can test the operation of your collar anytime: Connect the discharge lamp to both electrodes (loosen the electrodes, insert the contacts of the discharge lamp under them and tighten them again). Select mode 6 (operation test), sound signal and electric discharge is generated (test discharge lamp is lit up) and the device is automatically switched to mode 1 (sound correction only).

How to use the device correctly ● Tighten the electrodes by hand only! ● Keep the collar out of reach of children. ● Prevent water from getting inside the collar when it is open. ● If you are not going to use the collar for more than two months, take the battery out. ●... - Page 11 ● When the strap is too loose, the collar will probably move and the repeated friction may irritate the dog’s skin. Moreover, in this case no reliable contact with the skin is secured as well as the proper performance of the collar. Do not let the dog wear the collar in the same position all the time as it may cause skin irritation.
