Sequentix Music Systems
SKIP
The skip row allows you to selectively remove steps from the pattern.
The step values are not lost; the step is simply skipped over during playback.
This can change the rhythmic feel of a pattern, or allow you to make a simple pattern evolve into a
more complex one over time as a performance technique.
*TIP Skipping some steps will change the apparent length of the pattern. To alter the rhythmic feel
without altering the underlying length of a pattern, use skip with the global bar sync feature – see the
playlist edit section for details of this.
Xd
Xd is short for Transpose Defeat.
There are a number of ways your pattern might end up being transposed.
In some cases, you may want to transpose some steps of a pattern, but leaves others on fixed notes.
The Xd row allows you to do this.
AUX Status Rows
For each of the numeric Auxiliary rows, there is a matching Auxiliary status row that enables or
disables the auxiliary on each step.
