9- Configure User Accounts to Access the Encoder
There are 2 levels of users, Administrator which is the default admin account, and guest accounts. The name of the admin
account cannot be changed, and is the only account that can be set as an administrator. An unlimited number of guest
accounts can be added that can view can control the function of the Encoder, but will not be able to modify any of the
Encoders settings.
Access to the Encoder varies based on the level:
Administrator
Guest
Note: Once a username is created it cannot be edited, only the password can be changed. If a username needs
to change, it will need to be removed, and a new name created.
A. Select Config Button in the upper right hand corner of the Main Encoder Interface.
B. Select User Management in the left side menu.
C. Enter a Username and Password for a new user.
D. Re-Enter the password in the Confirm field, and select Add to confirm the addition.

Has access to all functions of the Encoder including configuration.
Has access to view the Encoder, and has limited control for saving recordings, and photos. No configuration
is allowed for the guest level.
