Samsung
SVMi-4 & SVM-400 Manual
MMC: 756
DESCRIPTION:
This MMC is used to assign each Music-On-Hold source for the keyphone system
from a sound file located on the SVM flash module. The 100 available sound files
are defined as numbers 5000 to 5099, but are referred to in this MMC as 00-99.
First, record the sound file. Then assign the sound file to a voice mail port. For exam-
ple, if you record sound file 5025 you would associate 25 with a specific SVM port,
e.g. 225. This will dedicate the port for use only as MOH and remove it from the
VM group. Now 225 will show up as a valid music source in MMCs 308, 309 and 408.
Each MOH source assigned here requires one dedicated SVM port / channel.
Note: If the first SVM port is used for VM MOH, it must be disabled before boot-up
since the SVM and keyphone system use port 1 during boot-up to exchange critical
information. It is suggested that you use the last port(s) as VM MOH ports.
