Changing the
illumination pattern
and color

Hold down SHIFT, then press
LED PATTERN or LED COLOR to
show the current setting.

Hold down SHIFT, then press
LED PATTERN or LED COLOR
repeatedly to select the
illumination pattern or color.
To turn off the illumination, hold
down SHIFT, then press
LED PATTERN repeatedly to select
"LED OFF."
Note
If the illumination (LED) brightness is
glaring, switch on the room lights or turn
off the LED.

Using the timers

The system offers three timer
functions. You cannot activate both
the Play Timer and the Recording
Timer at the same time. If you use
either with the Sleep Timer, the
Sleep Timer has priority.
Sleep Timer
You can fall asleep while listening to
music. The system turns off after the
preset time.
Hold down SHIFT, then press SLEEP
repeatedly to select the desired
time.
To cancel Sleep Timer, hold down
SHIFT, then press SLEEP repeatedly to
select "OFF."
Hint
To check the remaining time before the
system turns off, hold down SHIFT, then
press SLEEP.
Play Timer/Recording Timer
Make sure you have set the clock.
Play Timer:
You can wake up to disc, tuner or
USB device at a preset time.
Recording Timer:
You can transfer music from a preset
radio station to a USB device at a
specified time.

Prepare the sound source.
For Play Timer:
Prepare the sound source, then
press VOL +/– to adjust the volume.
When selecting a disc or USB device
as a sound source, and you want to
start from a specific track or file,
create your own program
(page 26).
For Recording Timer:
Tune to the radio station
(page 39).

Hold down SHIFT, then press
TIMER MENU.

Press  /  repeatedly to select
"PLAY SET" or "REC SET," then
press

Set the time to start playback or
transfer.
Press  /  repeatedly to set the
hour/minute, then press

Use the same procedure as in
step 4 to set the time to stop
playback or transfer.
