 ANTENNA
Find a location and an orientation
that provide good reception when
you set up the antennas.
Keep the antennas away from the
AC power cord and the USB cable to
avoid picking up noise.
 VIDEO OUT jack
Use a video cord to connect to the
video input jack of a TV or projector.
Note
Do not connect this unit to the TV through
the video deck.
 AUDIO OUT/
PARTY CHAIN OUT L/R jacks
Use an audio cord (not supplied)
to connect to the audio input jacks
of an optional equipment (such as
a VCR) or another audio system to
create a Party Chain (page 50).
 AUDIO IN/PARTY CHAIN IN
L/R jacks
Use an audio cord (not supplied) to
connect to the audio output jacks
of an optional equipment (such as
a TV or an audio/video equipment)
or another audio system to create a
Party Chain (page 50).
 Power
Connect the AC power cord
(supplied) to the system, and then to
the wall outlet.
When the AC power cord is
connected, the demonstration
(page 19) starts automatically. If
you press  to turn on the system,
the demonstration ends.

Inserting batteries

Insert the two supplied R6 (size AA)
batteries, matching the polarities
shown below.
Notes
Do not mix an old battery with a new

one or mix different types of batteries.
If you do not use the remote control
ˎ
ˎ
for a long period of time, remove the
batteries to avoid damage from battery
leakage and corrosion.
