Using play mode

Playing in sequential order
(Normal Play)
When playback is stopped, hold
down SHIFT, then press
PLAY MODE repeatedly.
 When playing a disc
[DISC]: plays all the tracks/files in
ˎ

sequential order.
[FOLDER]*: plays all audio files in
ˎ
ˎ
the specified folder on the disc.
* Cannot be selected for AUDIO CD.
 When playing a USB device
[ALL USB DEVICES]: plays all
ˎ
ˎ
audio files on both USB devices
sequentially.
[ONE USB DEVICE]: plays all
ˎ
ˎ
audio files on one USB device
sequentially.
[FOLDER]: plays all audio files in
ˎ
ˎ
the specified folder on the USB
device.
Playing in random order
(Shuffle Play)
When playback is stopped, hold
down SHIFT, then press
PLAY MODE repeatedly.
 When playing a disc
[DISC (SHUFFLE)]: shuffles all audio

files on the disc.
[FOLDER (SHUFFLE)]*: shuffles all

Notes
Shuffle Play cannot be performed for

Shuffle Play is canceled when you

ˋ open the disc tray.
ˋ perform USB A to USB B transfer
(except REC1 transfer).
ˋ perform disc to USB device transfer
(except REC1 transfer).
ˋ change MEDIA MODE.
ˋ switch the USB memory select.
Shuffle Play may be canceled when you

select a folder or a track to play back.
Creating your own program
(Program Play)
You can make a program of up to
25 steps in the order you want them
to be played back.
You can only program the audio
tracks/files from the disc or USB A.

Select the function.
For DVD/CD function:
Press DVD/CD.
For USB function:
Press USB repeatedly until "USB A"
lights up on the display.
