• Check the scan-cover open.
• Check shading profile.
• Check white/black reference voltage in
Main PBA.
• Check the CCD problem in Main PBA.
• Check turning the CCD Lamp on when
operating.
• Check shading profile.
• Check white/black reference voltage in
Main PBA.
• Check the CCD problem in Main PBA.
• Check shading profile.
• Check the gap between original and
scanner glass.
• Check printing quality.
• Check the scanner glass and any
mechanical disturbance.
• Check the motor driver in Driver PBA.
HOW TO SOLVE
HOW TO SOLVE
• Room light can transit a thin original.
• Remake shading profile in the tech mode.
• Replace U16 if it is defective.
- U16-97 = 3.3V
- U16-98 = 0V
• If the CIS is defective, replace it.
- CN6-1 is 5.8V when white original copying
for R, B and 3.5V for G.
• Check the CIS harness contact.
• Remake shading profile in the tech mode.
• Replace U2 or U12 if it is defective.
- U2-1 or U12-78 = 3.2V
- U2-7 or U12-79 = 1.9V
• If the CIS is defective, replace it.
- Cn6-1 is 7.3V when idle for R, B, and 5V
for G.
• Remake shading profile in the tech mode.
• The gap above 0.5mm can cause a blurred
image.
• See "Print" troubleshooting.
• Check the right position of the scanner glass,
and check the any mechanical disturbance in the
CCD carriaging part.
• If any driver is defective, replace it.
- U19 or U18-1, 19 = 0V to 30V swing signal
when operating.
