Disassembly and Reassembly
3-18 Carrier Motor
1. Before you disassemble the carrier motor
you should remove:
All covers (See page 3-2, 3-9)
ADF Scanner unit assembly (See page 3-3)
Engine unit (See page 3-15)
ASF unit (See page 3-16)
Holder harness (See page 3-16)
2. Push the cartridge carrier to the direction of
arrow.
3. Remove the C-cab.

4. Push the holder pulley and remove the belt only.
5. Remove two screws securing the carrier motor
and take out the motor from the main frame.
