The Advanced Menu

Selecting Advanced from the menu bar displays the Advanced menu:
 I/O Device Configuration
This menu allows you to configure the Notebook' s serial and parallel
ports. Each field on this submenu is covered below.
Serial Port A
This field allows you to configure the Notebook' s serial COM1 port.
The following options are available:
•
Disabled
•
Enabled
•
Auto (default value)
When Enabled is selected, the Base I/O Address menu item appears.
Serial Port B
This field allows you to configure the Notebook' s serial COM2 port.
The following options are available:
