Power Management Modes

Normal Mode: All clocks run at full speed; all peripheral
devices have power.
Idle Mode: The CPU clock and other clocks have reduced
frequency.
Standby Mode: The CPU clock and some other clocks have
reduced frequency. The video circuits and the HDD are in
low-power mode.
Suspend: Most of the components in the system are off. The
video circuits are in low-power mode.
