Storing for a long time

When the printer is going to be out of use for a long time, carry out the items in the Long Storage submenu in the Panel Setting
Menus before turning the power off.
If you turn the power off without carrying those items out, the ink in the printer's interior could settle out and/or coagulate,
causing poor image quality or printer failure.

• Press the [ - ] key several times, to bring up the display on the left.
• Press the [ >] key.
• Press the [ - ] key several times, to bring up the display on the left.
• Press the [ Enter] key.
Press the [ Enter] key.
When the message on the left appears, transfer the waste ink into a
container.
