Step 6 : Opening ports on Router
Login to the GUI of the router using its LAN IP. In this setup the router ip is 192.168.1.1. The defualt user
name and password for DG-BG4300N is "admin".
Click on " Advanced > NAT" on top and "Virtual Server" on the left hand side.
Create the following 2 rules as show in the figure below:
Rule1:
1. Select radio button for "User-defined Service Name"
2. Enter the Service Name as "2600W_http". This is just a name for the rule for identification
purpose.
3. Select Protocol as "tcp"
4. Select the WAN Setting as "Interface"
5. Select the WAN Interface as "pppoe1". This is the ADSL connection name which is connected to
Internet.
6. Enter the WAN Port as "80"
7. Enter the LAN Open Port as "80"
8. Enter the LAN Ip Address as "192.168.1.8"
Click "Apply Changes" to save the settings.
