6. DMZ

If your computer cannot use Internet applications or cannot provide services to remote users when
applying GW-MF54G2 at the same time, you can let the host which wants to access to the Internet using
DMZ function.
Enable DMZ: Click the check box to enable DMZ function.
DMZ Host IP Address: Enter the host IP address of your DMZ server here.
Save
Reset
configure the page again.
Adding a client host to DMZ might expose it to a variety of danger such as virus or
worm attacks because of unrestricted Internet access; therefore, only use this option
as the last means. Besides, before using DMZ function, you should update the
up-to-date settings of security system and virus signatures on the host.
C lick this button to save the settings and restart GW-MF54G2.
