SECTION 6
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
30 Amp Receptacle
The optional 50-amp shoreline gives your
coach extra current handling capacity. This al-
lows you to run the central air conditioning sys-
tem at maximum (both compressors running)
without the inconvenience of frequently tripping
circuit breakers.
CONNECTING THE
SHORELINE TO THE
COACH
(Model 36L diesel only)
Remove the cord from the storage compart-
ment and plug the coach end of the cord (yellow
plug) into the coach input receptacle.
Align the plug with the prongs in the
receptacle and insert firmly into receptacle.

50 Amp.
Power Receptacle
Twist the black retainer collar on the plug han-
dle to lock the plug onto the receptacle during
use.
Then plug the shore end of the cord (black
plug end) into a suitable 50-amp power recepta-
cle to provide external power to the coach and
converter/charger system.
NOTE: Some parks to not have 50-amp service
available, so you may need to connect to
a standard 30-amp service pole using an
adapter, available from your Winnebago
Industries dealership or most RV supply
stores.
WARNING
Do not plug the power cord into an
outlet which is not grounded, or adapt
the plug to connect to a receptacle for
which it is not designed.
Be sure that all the prongs of the sup-
ply cord are properly plugged into the
receptacle.
Do not connect the power cord to an
extension cord.
Park Fuses or Breakers
Most campgrounds are equipped with a fuse
or circuit breaker at the receptacle. This protects
the park's wiring, as well as the power cord on
your vehicle, from electrical damage. If electrical
power fails, contact the park attendants and have
them check the fuse or breaker for your supply
receptacle.
After disconnecting the power cord, neatly re-
place it in the storage compartment.
