Replacing the 3.5-inch HDD backplane

As spare part the 3.5-inch HDD backplane is already mounted in the backplane
holder.
Ê Open the server as described in
Ê Remove all hot-plug hard disk drives (refer to the Operating Manual for a
detailed description).

CAUTION!
Ensure that all hard disk drives are uniquely identified so that you can
reinsert them into their original bays after replacing the HDD
backplane.
