Because of this, Vaddio added “Daisy Chain Control Emulation” or DCCE™ to the Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI SR Interface in order to use the ClearVIEW or PowerVIEW series cameras daisy chain control situations. Hardware codecs (Cisco & Polycom) that control cameras using a daisy chain control topology are prime examples of where DCCE can be used.
